When fate comes knocking with a hammer and sword, will you be able to break the chains of destiny?

This is a tale of family and prophecy inspired by the Eddas of Norse Mythology. This is not a retelling, but an exploration of what is unsaid, guided by your actions. Immerse yourself in the cold winters of Jotunheimr and see the world from the perspective of those who would destroy it.

I recommend closing the default twine sidebar by clicking the top left "<" sign, or playing in full screen.

I'm getting a no valid storage adapters error when I try to run this through firefox. Do you need something in particular to run this game? Edit- Runs in Edge, just not in Firefox it seems.

I quite liked Hela's brothers and even Thor and Tyr

The music helped a lot to create a proper atmosphere. I will wait for more updates. Thanks!

i feel like thor and odin in this game are jerks in my playthrough and sadists i dont know if its me but somehow i can feel they hate the mc for reasons unknown as of yet but i will try today a bit later to make different decisions and see how it goes so far i made bad choices in my opinion in this game since it was my first playthrough today will be my second and i hope our little pup young bro dont stay without its sister this time...*stares menacingly at thor and see if kratos is around to put it on a leash and collar and odin too* also i wish to see this game popular btw i know it has nothing with the game but when the history teacher let me choose the theme of what i would work as homework i choose nordic mythology which is fantastic and this game fills a hole in twine games that i had on my mind most games are medieval pirate or anything this is the first nordic mythology game i see here(you cant see my collection of twine since its private but im about to add this one to a special one) ;D -abyssal28

Thank you for sharing your experience! I loved reading it. I would be curious to hear how/if a second playthrough changes your perspective. Happy to know there are fans of this type of mythology and game!

this game catched my interest i always liked mythologies and the way nobody does games about them like this one, im about to play right now and i wonder if there will be more to come

Let me know what you thought, and if you liked it that's one more reason to keep the project going :)

I normally don't post anything till I've played it all the way through, but since I don't have time to finish just yet--wow, great use of Twine! The art style is KILLER and the sound is a nice touch. Can't wait to finish later.

Awesome, glad to hear that! Would love to hear your final thoughts when you finish it!
